Our staff of professional archaeologists, historians and preservation planners are currently helping clients that range from hospitals to HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development),  from the New York City Board of Education to the Georgia Departments of Juvenile Justice and Human Resources, and from architects and engineers to the U.S. Air Force.

we're helping:

  • The Department of Housing and Urban Development by writing the cultural resources (archaeology and historic preservation) section of a regulatory enforcement guidebook for local planning and zoning administrators in communities along the historic New York State Canal.
  • Pave the way for FCC licensing of  telecommunication towers and HDDTV (high definition digital television) towers in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, New York, North Dakota, South Carolina, Wisconsin.
  • Establish senior care centers, assisted living facilities and retirement housing on Long Island in the communities of Roslyn, Lynbrook, Huntington, Glen Cove, Middle Island and Greenport.
  • The Veteran's Administration relocate its southeastern regional offices to the Atlanta VA Medical Center Complex.
  • Albany County's North Colonie and Voorheesville Central School Districts, the Cornwall Central School District, Saratoga Springs School District and  New York City Board of Education plan for the future by paving the way for a new elementary and high school expansions and site acquisition.
  • An international paper company site a new million square foot distribution complex while respecting the sensitivity of three historical farmsteads that date back to our Colonial heritage.
  • The Town of River Vale, New Jersey,  the City of Kennesaw, Georgia, and the County of Los Angeles, California, be responsible to their respective sensitive cultural environments by reviewing the impacts on cultural and archaeological resources of proposed  developments.
  • The Georgia Departments of Juvenile Justice and Human Resources comply with recently enacted legislation for the stewardship of historic properties by conducting  surveys of all buildings and structures at Youth Detention Campuses and State and Regional Hospitals across the state.
  • A shopping center developer in central New York State treat the discovery of ancient Mohawk burials and a hotel developer in South Hampton treat an ancient Shinnecock site with the proper respect due our irreplaceable Native American culture.
  • A  labor union assess its growth potential and related opportunities and liabilities related to the development of a new shopping center in California.
  • The Air Force inventory and survey more than 400 buildings at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia and assess their historical significance related to the Cold War; and also inventory, catalogue and interpret numerous archaeological surveys conducted throughout the installation.
